Italy Travel FAQs

When is the best time to visit Italy?

Spring (April–June) and early autumn (September–October) offer pleasant weather, long daylight, and lighter crowds than the July–August peak. We run this journey year-round and tailor it to your preferred travel window.

What is included in the Essence of Italy package?

Packages are priced per person and include lodging with breakfast, ground transportation, guided tours, and the activities listed in the itinerary. International flights and travel insurance are not included but can be arranged on request.

How much walking should I expect?

A moderate amount. The historic centers of Rome, Florence, and Venice are explored largely on foot over cobblestone streets and bridges, so comfortable walking shoes are recommended.

Can the itinerary be customized?

Yes. We can adjust the pace, hotel collection, and excursions, and add extensions such as the Amalfi Coast or Lake Como. Contact us for a quote tailored to your group.

What documents do I need to enter Italy?

A passport valid for at least three months beyond your departure date. U.S. citizens do not need a visa for short tourist stays in the Schengen Area; check current ETIAS requirements before you travel.
