What is actually published, and by whom.

Two sources in this register speak to the weather here and they agree. The UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office states that the hurricane season in Mexico normally runs from June to November, that tropical storms and hurricanes cause floods, landslides and disruption to local services including transport networks, and that after a hurricane there can still be continued flooding, high winds and rainfall. It asks readers to monitor the US National Hurricane Center and follow local authorities and their tour operator, including evacuation orders.

The Center itself is more precise. Its climatology page states that the Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 30, and that on a 1991 to 2020 climate period an average season has 14 named storms, 7 hurricanes and 3 major hurricanes at Category 3 or above. It adds that the first named storm typically forms in mid to late June and the first hurricane in early to mid August.

What that means for a day ashore.

Very little, most of the time, and a great deal on the rare day it matters. A ship in that window can be rerouted around a system days in advance, so the practical effect is usually a changed itinerary rather than a rough day in port. Travel insurance is the mechanism that carries that risk, and the general advice asks every traveler to get appropriate travel insurance before setting out.

What this page will not give you.

No average temperature. No rainfall figure. No sea temperature. No humidity. No best month. Not one source in this cluster register publishes any of them for this island, and a figure put here to round out the page would be indistinguishable from a researched one. That is the whole reason this section exists rather than being quietly omitted.
