Americans - Renew Your Passports Online

The U.S. Department of State has provided the ability for Americans to renew their passports online. Rather than using the paper application and mailing it with a check, you can now renew your passport through a secure online portal that will save time and effort.

To use the new system, you must be over 25 years old, not change your name, gender, date of birth, or place of birth, not travel within eight weeks of renewal, and be in the United States, among other prerequisites.
